Only 7 months left until our big annual event!
Reminder: Call for Presentations
The call for presentations has been open since the beginning of January, and we’ve already received several interesting proposals. Don’t miss this opportunity to share your ideas and experiences with the Koha community! The deadline for submissions is April 30th.
If you’re using the preservation or e-resource management modules, please share your experiences with these relatively new modules. We’re sure the community would be interested in finding out how you’re using them, what the benefits and pitfalls are, and how it’s changed your working experience.
Here are some other topics we think might be of interest:
- Using Koha to improve day-to-day operations
- Interesting and unusual uses of Koha
- Case studies
- Workflows (acquisitions, electronic resource management, preservation, periodicals, and ILL in particular)
- Updates, new features, features in development
- History of Koha
- Discovering Koha for new users
- Customizing the OPAC
- Documentation
- Translation
- Ways to get involved in the community
- Extensions
- CSS / JS tips
- Improving and modernizing Koha (new technologies, new needs, funding, wish list of things to improve)
- Linked data
- Technologies behind Koha (Perl, Vue, Plack, Elasticsearch, etc.)
- Koha installation (hardware, docker, automation, resource sharing)
- Integration with third-party products, external search engines
Reminder : Call for Workshops
For the hands-on part of Kohacon, the hackfest, we’re looking for engaging workshops to stimulate collaboration. If you have an idea for a workshop that you think will be educational and inspiring, please submit it using the form provided. Let’s “build together” and make Kohacon 2024 a rewarding experience for all.
We look forward to seeing you soon!
